It's that time for a year end wrap up for the best high performance books I stumbled across this year, and I encourage you to check them out; they might be some of your most important reading as well!
Ok, so I should get this out of the way: I really took to using Audible to listen to books rather than actually sitting down and reading them. So this list is mostly an "Audible Must-Read" selection than book, but whatever format you use I think you'll get something out of it.
Having said that, in no particular order let's check out these high performance books!
Never Split The Difference by Chris Voss
This was my most listened to book of the year by far, but I hesitate to tell people about this (seemingly) hidden gem. There is just so much that Voss teaches us about negotiation techniques and tactics that apply in so many areas of life, but I don't want people to learn my secret negotiation tactics! (Just kidding of course.. or am I?)
Think about it: You negotiate with your boss, with your kids, with your spouse, with your Uber driver... you name it. Are you prepared as well as you could be?

The 10 Pillars Of Wealth by Alex Becker
I believe this came up as an Audible recommendation for me and bought out of a whim... and glad I did.
Bottom line, if you want to add wealth to your bank account and change your life, these 10 wealth-building concepts are essential to your success.
While there aren't detailed ideas on how to build wealth, Becker does dive into each Pillar so you definitely have a grasp of how they should affect you and your mindset.
If you are looking for fundamental mindset changes especially in relation to wealth creation I can't recommend this high performance book highly enough.

Can't Hurt Me by David Goggins
Do you know how powerful your mind is, like really? Do you know what kind of punishment your body can take, like really? Do you know that you can succeed at the highest levels, like really?
Take "average" David Goggins as he recaps his life story for you into becoming one badass MF, and he gives you concepts and clues to tap into your own potential and push yourself way farther than you ever thought possible.
The added bonus is in the audio format, where it is both the story and an interview/dialogue/podcast with Goggins and co-writer Adam Skolnick. It's a great read but a must-listen if you want to change your abilities and become "superhuman".

The 4-Hour Workweek By Timothy Ferriss
I imagine this book would make my most-impactful list since I first read it; alas this is my first time creating a year end must-read list.
Nevertheless, this book once again is one of my most impactful books and if you haven't heard of it already... what rock have you been living under?
While the title is something that is slightly controversial the book is about high productivity, life hacks and freedoms that you might be unaware exist in your daily surroundings.
There are great business building ideas in the book that can still be utilized in 2020 and beyond. The downside is that some of the exact tools that are recommended are no longer available, but there are many alternative options available if you do a little digging.
